Rural Developmental Activities

The sole architect behind the rural development programs taken up by Vijay foundation was the Late Smt. Jayanti R Pai, wife of Sri B.R Pai. She single-handedly started and efficiently managed the development of small villages near Mysore during late 1990’s. But, then in order to replicate this philanthropic work many folds efficiently and quickly, Vijay Foundation entered into a understanding with Hindhu Seva Pratisthana and presently undertakes overall development of people in more than twenty four villages. With a firm belief that today’s children are tomorrow’s citizens, Vijay Foundation focuses its energies on children in rural schools.

The Vijay foundation’s rural development activities include:

Balagokula - Camps for building character and right attitudes in school children.
Balashibira and Kishorashibira - Personality development camps for rural schoolchildren.
Mathru Mandali - Camps for educating rural mothers on key development issues
Raitha Bandhu - Camps to generate awareness among farmers on organic forming.
Yoga Shibira - Camps to teach simple yoga postures to rural folks.
